There are over 100 kinds of Dracaena in the world! With so many unique plants, it can be hard to find the best one for your home or office, but don’t worry – we’re here to help!

Dracaena marginata is a wonderfully resilient plant with long, slender green leaves edged with red. The leaves grow in a dense clump at the ends of the branches in such a way that they look like the backs of porcupines perched on a trunk. While the leaves look sharp and jagged at a glance, they are just as soft as normal leaves and won’t leave a scratch. Not too fussy about light and water, these plants are excellent for any level of plant parent!

Our Full Size Dracaena Marginata comes in a 14” wide plastic grow pot, making it the perfect size to fill any big floor spot - from an empty corner that needs a big update to a busy common space looking for a grounding piece. Dracaenas are considered toxic to animals – keep the leaves and sap out of reach of any curious pets.

Lighting

Marginata canes prefer a bright, indirect light source. They can be happy in lower light conditions, but they won’t thrive in the same way as they would with something a little brighter. Be aware though, you'll want to keep it away from the direct sunlight, this can burn the leaves.

To understand more about various lighting conditions, read our ultimate indoor plant lighting guide (coming soon)

Watering Schedule

Water the Full Size (14" pot) Marginata once every 3 weeks-ish, make sure that the first 3 inches of the soil is dry across a few spots before you water. But when you are watering, you want to make sure to water thoroughly, water the plant for a continuous 2-3 minutes or so, going across the soil very slowly. You should see some water coming down the bottom.

If you are here through a google search on how to water Dracaena Marginatas in general (not this specific size- yes the plant size does matter), then visit our watering guide for the Dracaenas. (coming soon)

Worked on slow leak… one month already!!!
Style: 18oz
Edit: Still holding proper pressure at 2-months !!! Had a slow leak where my tire went from 44psi to ~18psi over 2-3 days… Dashboard light would let me know every few days that I had a tire problem and I would inflate the tire back up to 44psi… Anyway, I used this product and filled air back to 44 psi and it’s held the pressure for a month already !!!! Be sure to deflate tire to ~15 PSI before adding the product… it only took about 30 seconds to empty the container into my tire with the tire pressure low. Very happy with this product !!!

Effective temporary fix
Style: 18oz, Style: 18oz
The slim brand has always been an genuine effective fix. I have been using slime since I used to ride on bicycles. Well it is not a permanent fix for if you have a hole in your inner tube it is a great fix to hold you over until you are able to get to either the mechanic or to your local store to get a replacement inner tube. Overall, it's worth every penny and you get plenty in the canister that it comes in depending on which slime you are getting whether that's the plastic bottle for your inner tubes for a bicycle or the metal canister as I've shown in my picture for your SUVs trucks or vans. However I don't give this an entire five stars but more of four stars not because of their product but because resorting to using slime rather than fixing the problem is more of my own problem. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍👍

Don't buy doesn't work
Style: 18oz, Style: 18oz
Terrible did nothing. Even tried to let wheel turn 360 degrees yet the solution get in the tire leak proper. Directions on can differ from instructions on here/Amazon. I followed directions on can EXACTLY and still didnt even hold one PSI of air. I'd be better off burning the $10 for warmth rather then waste it this way
